About the event

Join us for a special Harvest Dinner featuring Chicago Pitmaster Hipolito Sanchez from Slow Motion for Meat and Bourbon Chef Joshua Wilson. Together with Chef Kristian Niemi, Honey River Catering Chef Gabrielle Watson, and Pastry Chef Tess Ward, they have crafted a menu using some of the best South Carolina has to offer at this time of the year! Reception Cocktail - Walking on Sunshine - Striped Pig Lavender Gin, Aperol, Fresh Local Orange Juice, Lillet Blanc, Soda, Mint Reception Appetizer - Oyster Rockafella’s - Grilled SC Oyster with Local Cheese Creamed Collard Greens and House Bacon topped with Brown Butter Breadcrumbs First Course Bayou Fish Cakes made with SC Coastal Fish, Shrimp, and Louisiana Crawfish with Old Bay Remoulade over Anson Mills Jimmy Red Corn Grits Salad Course Lettuces from Freshly Grown Farms, Fire-Roasted Local Beets, Crescent Farms Satsumas, City Roots Fennel, Goat Lady Goat Cheese Crumbles, Anson Mills Buckwheat Croutons, Bounty Dressing Main Course Smoked Joyce Farms Chicken Ragout with Local Mushrooms, City Roots Tuscan Kale, Fire Roasted Turnips, Parsnips, and Preserved Local Meyer Lemons served with Herbed Spaetzle, and BBQ Crescent Farm Carrots with Ranchovy Dessert Course

We recommend talking with the people you would like to sit with and picking a table. Then, have your dinner-mates purchase a ticket for the same table. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE SEATS AT OTHER PEOPLES TABLES.  COMMUNITY TABLES  If you just want to attend by yourself or with a friend and do not mind sitting with others,purchase seats at one of our community tables!

Tickets are $85 tax and gratuity not included. Percentage of the ticket price supports The Charitable Plate 501 C3 Whose goal is to shepherd talent in the midlands community by providing scholarships to fund the advancement and growth of future chefs, farmers, and educational pursuits to strengthen our local food system and provide support to workers in times of crisis.
