A Columbia favorite, now in its sixth year! Join us for our Annual Oyster and Pig Roast at City Roots. F2T Productions Pitmaster Lou Hutto from LowCo Barbecue & Catering will be cooking whole pigs from Wil-Moore Farms, F2T Catering Chef Gabrielle and F2T Chef Liason and Bourbon Columbia Executive Chef Frank Bradley will be mixing up some sides while Kristian Niemi is roasting clusters of Bulls Bay oysters for you to pick and shuck all day. 

Your $65 ticket will cover all you can eat, expertly roasted whole hog pulled into delicious pork, clusters of Bulls Bays oysters from McClellanville, S.C., Mac n’ Cheese, Locally Sourced Collards, Cornbread, Blue Cheese Coleslaw and Baked Beans. Bring your shuckers, gloves, appetite and koozies! 

We will have live music by Ashes of Old Ways, a cash bar, shucking tables and fires! This is a limited ticketed event, and you can only get tickets pre-sale. We will not be selling tickets at the door. We will start serving at 12:30 pm and stop at 4pm. Oysters will be served until 5pm. 

Stoney Creek Cigars/South will also be there on site with their premium hand rolled and infused cigars for purchase. The Hand Rolled Cigars are hand infused from Premium Dominican tobaccos and top shelf spirits for delightful pairings and memorable palates. 

$65 per person.

Come to City Roots and pick your local chefs best dish using a craft beer as either the secret ingredient or as a dish pairing. You decide the winner! Local Columbia chefs will be competing for a grand prize from KW Beverage and bragging rights. You will be given a ticket when you arrive to submit your vote for the best dish. Breweries from the Carolinas and Georgia will be featured at our cash bars and if a taste is not enough you can purchase food by F2T Productions. Live music! Tickets are $20. Participating restaurants and breweries to be announced. Must be 21 years of age.

We will have a wine store on site and will be selling the wines you taste and you will be able to order them for pickup.  

$5 from every ticket sold goes to Historic Columbia to help fund the care and growing of the Herbemont Grape in our gardens.

Bourbon Dinner on City Roots Urban Farm hosted by Eddie Russell, Master Distiller of Wild Turkey Distillery. Join us for an evening of award-winning whiskeys from Master Distiller Eddie Russell of Wild Turkey, wood-grilled meat, farm-fresh vegetables, and good times on the farm. Chefs Kristian Niemi and Frank Bradley from Bourbon will be preparing a four-course dinner to enjoy while tasting Wild Turkey and Russell's Reserve bourbons and ryes. This is an evening you won't want to miss and is one of the pre-fair events leading up to the 2018 Great American Whiskey Fair.
